I just started the process of looking for a new job. I haven’t been this unprepared for looking since I started as a web dev. I think that means I’ve been really lucky. As of today, in about 3 days time, I’ve applied to 33 postings. Is that a lot, I hope so?
For my last position, I had a very strong idea about what I wanted to be doing (making a text editor), and I found like the perfect fit. I swear I got hired on enthusiasm alone, which is not my usual mode. Not this time though, I have no idea what I want to be doing? Searching job boards for “Teaching my six year how to mod Minecraft” and getting zero results.
